On behalf of everyone involved with the Haines Science Center project, I would like to welcome you all to the beginning of something that promises to be quite special.
Haines Science Center is working to steward our understanding of many facets of this beautiful and important land. Whether you were born here or have chosen it, we are working to provide you with more information about the place you call home.
In Southeast Alaska weather can be both friend and foe. The landscape is wild and harsh, demanding of respect. Our goal is to support the community in understanding, enjoying, and interacting with the natural area. We are working diligently to gather knowledge so that we may all make more informed decisions.
