Looks like the clouds are lifting! This means that the helicopters you’re seeing are moving drill rigs and supplies to boring locations above Beach Road. The drillers and staff from LT will start the subsurface investigation and instrumentation work. Each boring is anticipated to take 5 days to complete, but the work is weather dependent and requires good visibility. Subsurface investigations are used to measure joint structure in the subsurface by coring and using downhole imaging in geotechnical boreholes.
