Situated at a transition ground between terrestrial and maritime climates, the waters of the upper Lynn Canal are an important chapter in the full story of Southeast Alaska. Our waterways throughout the inside passage link our towns and islands and also provide for us. Protecting their health starts by taking a good look at their condition. The Science Center works with marine biologists and researchers along the coast, from British Columbia to the Lynn Canal, to develop and add important knowledge.
