A resident of Southeast Alaska for almost a decade, Steven Villano is a founding partner of the HSC. Steven has developed exhibitions and educational programs for the Sealaska Heritage Institute, The Tongass Historical Museum, The Totem Heritage Center, University of Alaska Southeast, and the California Academy of Science among others. He began his career after graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago by working in exhibition production at the Field Museum. At the Field Museum in Chicago, Mr. Villano was instrumental in the founding of the Media Integration Studio initiative. This production and theory group leveraged the power of new digital media technologies for the benefit of the well-storied institution.
